Things to keep in mind

Obesity can be caused by an unbalanced diet and an unhealthy lifestyle. Exercise is very hard when you are obese. Even just walking can be difficult.
If your BMI (Body Mass Index) is very high based on height and weight calculations, it means you are obese.

What if you are obese?

Obesity is very bad for our health.
It can cause many diseases such as diabetes, asthma, cardiovascular and heart problems, and many more problems.

How can you prevent or treat obesity?

The most important thing is to have a healthy lifestyle. Have a healthy and varied diet: lots of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, dairy products, some meat and fish, and no refined sugars (pastries, candy, sweetened juices ...).

Exercise regularly: you can follow an exercise chart/program. Be active! You have to go outside and play, run, walk, and exercise. Don't spend all day sitting on the couch watching TV or playing with a tablet.

And remember, always ask your doctor!
